Genetics is one of the causes of cellulite. It may lead to the formation of the condition in both men and women, thin and obese alike. Here are some of the reasons why heredity is blamed for the disorder.
Genetics play a vital role in the development of cellulites. This is the reason why even if you are thin, there is still a tendency for you to acquire the ugly sight in your thighs, leg area, buttocks, hips and waists. Oftentimes, women are the target but men may also get their share of this kind of fate.
If you think obese women are more prone to the appearance, well it is not at all times that these individuals will acquire cellulite. There is still a slight possibility that they may not be a victim of the occurrence. Truth is that the dimpled or orange peel skin is less obvious for those individuals with thicker skin.
Genetics and its relationship to cellulite
There are several known facts behind the association of genetics to cellulite. The truth behind having the skin problem is presupposed with the following reasons:
1. Fat cells. The fat cells you have are indicative of heredity’s effect on your body. You have to accept the great tendency of having cellulite when your mom or even your grandmother had fallen into the same trap. However, it is not at all times that you become a target of the ugly sight.
2. Weak veins. People with weak veins also have the great tendency to have cellulite build-up in the body. You know that the function of the vein is to carry blood to the heart. If your veins are weak, there is a chance that proper blood circulation will not be promoted thus leading to the formation of cellulites.
3. Fragile lymphatic vessels. The lymph is a body fluid which contains white cells known as lymphocytes. The latter are drained by the lymphatic system vessels. When the vessels are fragile, there is a great chance that bacteria or viruses will be transported to the body. When this happens, the toxin build-up in the body will generate cellulites. Easily broken lymphatic vessels are actually results of genetics.
4. Poor circulation. As stated earlier, the veins transport blood to the heart. When the said vessel is weak, blood circulation becomes poor. It then follows that cellulites may build up because of this reason. The primary culprit to issues associated with the dimply thighs and cottage cheeses is genetics. Poor blood circulation may have been a result of what was passed on to you by your parents.
5. Hormonal sensitivity. Women are especially affected by hormonal concerns. It is not really something that it is acquired but genetics do affect this imbalance in the body. Hormones are essential for the functioning of a particular tissue or organ. In cases where they are not addressed immediately, it manifests in some areas of the body, thus there is the so-called cellulite formation.
Even though genetics is commonly blamed for cellulite occurrence, you should always take time out to think of ways on preventing the condition. You know your entire body and your system. The best thing you can do is to find out how you can get rid of the sight. Everything depends upon your courage to stop it from coming.
